Sports Marketing & Communication

Sport is also played off the field: branding, advertising, ticketing, sponsoring, fan engagement. Our experts design marketing strategies, communication campaigns and digital products — websites and mobile apps — to give your clubs, federations, events and sports brands the audience and impact they deserve.

Our services

We analyze your club, federation or sports brand — its image, its strengths, its positioning — as well as the competitive landscape of Swiss sport, in order to identify the best opportunities to grow your visibility, your fan community, your partners and your customers.

We build a tailor-made global plan to promote your club, federation or sporting event. Market research, audience segmentation and selection of the most relevant channels, to reach all your objectives: visibility, attendance, membership.

We design a series of actions across different media to spread the message of your club, federation or sports brand consistently, with precise objectives: awareness or acquisition. Our experts handle pre-production (storyboards, script, casting of athletes or ambassadors, styling, planning), production (photo and video shoots, indoors, on the field or behind the scenes), post-production and copywriting.

Websites, mobile apps, e-shops, ticketing: we build digital platforms designed for the sports industry — checking results on the go, booking tickets for the next game, buying merchandise.

Distribution, partnerships, influence: we manage media buying to maximize the reach of your campaigns, and activate the right relays — athletes, ambassadors, content creators, sponsors — to amplify your message among fans and reach new audiences, especially younger generations.

We assess the effectiveness of the actions we implement using key performance indicators (KPIs) adapted to sport: stadium attendance, fan engagement rate, brand awareness, cost per member or subscriber acquisition, ticket and merchandising sales. We then adjust our strategies based on the results obtained.

Do these challenges sound familiar?

Bringing a club to life beyond the scoreboard

A club is more than a final score. It is an identity, a community, a story to tell all year round — to supporters and partners alike.

Swiss women's hockey was playing in the shadows, in front of a few dozen spectators. LHC took the opposite bet: aiming for a record attendance of 3,000 spectators for a women's game. We built a campaign carried by a strong slogan — "Demain plus jamais seules" — and a raw, sincere art direction, rolled out on billboards and social media.

Filling the clubs and retaining members

The fitness and health-through-sport sector lives on volume and loyalty. You have to convince, reassure, and make people want to walk through the door.

For more than 4 years, we have been supporting this Swiss fitness leader (60 clubs, 70,000 members) in its bilingual national campaigns, with a fresh and dynamic identity adapted to the specifics of each region.

Using sport as a public health lever

Sport and its figures inspire trust. Used well, this goodwill can carry public health messages that are hard to get across any other way.

An oral health prevention campaign run in partnership with Léa Sprunger (athletics champion), Alvyn Sanchez (former striker at Lausanne Sport) and content creators, to reach a young audience on a prevention topic.

Uberizing the sports experience

Coaching, booking, progress tracking: sport is also experienced through a mobile app or a web platform, designed for its real-life use — in the gym, on the move.

For Hitch, the app to find your coach, we ran UX design as close to the field as possible (observation in gyms, testing with real coaches), created a dedicated design system and developed native web and mobile applications to connect coaches and athletes.

Questions? Answers.

Good results on the field or excellent facilities are not enough to fill a stadium, retain members or attract sponsors. Communication builds the visibility, the emotional attachment and the legitimacy of a club or a section beyond results alone — that is what turns results into a lasting community and into revenue (ticketing, sponsoring, merchandising, subscriptions).

With a limited budget, effectiveness comes from prioritization: targeting a single measurable objective (e.g. attendance for a specific game), concentrating resources on one or two high-impact channels, and betting on a strong, authentic concept rather than on production volume.

There is no universal format: social media (TikTok, Instagram…) works for daily engagement with Gen Z, while billboards, television, press and radio create local impact. Bilingual or national campaigns combine these channels to reach broader audiences. The right choice depends on the objective: local awareness, attendance at a specific game, or acquisition and sales of subscriptions and tickets.

Impact is measured through key performance indicators (KPIs) adapted to sport: number of spectators against a set target, social media engagement rate, ticket and merchandising sales, cost per new member acquisition, and the evolution of brand awareness before and after the campaign.

An athlete or a sports personality brings credibility and visibility, particularly to reach a young audience or to carry awareness messages. Integration relies on a casting that is consistent with the message, a collaboration on content production, and a combined distribution across the club's channels and the personality's own.

Yes, alongside communication campaigns: club websites, coaching or sports tracking apps, ticketing platforms and merchandising e-shops are part of the digital solutions we offer.

Building value for women's sport means creating an identity of its own, rather than simply extending a men's section: a dedicated strategy, tailored branding and storytelling, concrete and measurable objectives, and communication that treats the subject with the same creative ambition as a major campaign designed for men's sport.
